Chivu: "This performance gives us a lot of confidence"

“We know the quality we have, and we've identified certain things we needed to improve and put them into practice on the pitch. We've performed well overall this season, but today we were particularly well organised in a difficult place to play. We always talk things through, whether results are good or bad, to learn from our mistakes and work out what we need to do differently. Perhaps we've now understood where we were going wrong. Everyone at Inter, from the players and coaching staff to the Club itself, knows just how good this group is and how much they've done over the years to take Inter to the highest level. We've never doubted that. Consistency brings results, confidence and belief, and that's what we're trying to find right now. This performance gives us a lot of confidence and something to build on. Football doesn't always go to plan, but you have to respond, make the right changes and find a way to get back on track.”
