De Vrij: "We lacked the goal, we have to do better"

A second draw for Inter this season, who couldn't manage better than 0-0 away to Sampdoria. It was a haunted match for the Nerazzurri, who shot 25 times, and produced a goalless draw, the first in a year. Commenting on the match, to Inter TV microphones, was Stefan De Vrij.
“We had so many chances, we lacked the goal. We were well organised, we didn't concede anything, but we are really disappointed that we didn't win. We have to do better, we have many games ahead and we know we can do more. It has already happened this season where we have played great games against important opponents and then have a harder time in other matches that are more manageable on paper: it is not easy to understand the reason. At this stage of the season, we've rediscovered a real solidity at the back, we don't give up much and we're in good shape: we have to continue like this, knowing that we have to do more, starting with the match against Udinese.”
