Dimarco: "It's still in our control"

A damaging result for Inter, who were narrowly beaten by Milan in the derby thanks to a goal from Estupiñán.
However, today's result cannot overshadow the Nerazzurri's incredible run in the league, as Federico Dimarco highlighted:
“After the goal, Milan dropped very deep, which is normal. We didn't create enough opportunities to truly do damage; that's just the truth. Every match is different; we had prepared to keep a mid-block, but once you go behind, you have to increase the pressure. My opportunity? I sent the ball too high. I couldn't keep it down, and it fell badly. I think once we concede, we struggle to respond. We're just not sharp enough in our reactions. If eight months ago someone had told us we'd be seven points clear at this point in the season, nobody would have believed it, and we all would have gladly taken it. We need to stay level-headed and focus on the matches that we have left. It's hard to find an explanation. Before today, we were ten points ahead and were having a great season. We need to keep calm and composed; it's still in our control.”
