Andy Diouf's impact on the game against Karlsruher can be demonstrated in just 2 minutes and 51 seconds: 171 seconds was all it took for the French midfielder to turn the match on its head and hand Inter a victory that had seemed all but out of reach. “It's a good feeling, but this is just the beginning – that was only our first game. We've worked really hard throughout this training camp, every single day, but we have to take things one step at a time. The second goal? As soon as I brought the ball under control, I looked up towards goal. It's something I try a lot in training, and in matches I just try to do the same. I simply want to give everything I can and help the team. I feel good out on the pitch, but I still have a lot of work to do because playing out wide isn't my natural position. I speak to the coach a lot, and now we'll have plenty more time to keep working. I think it was a great way to finish such an intense training camp, with a good result.”
