— Dec 6th 2024The thoughts of the Inter Head Coach after the 3-1 win against Parma
It finished 3-1 to Inter at San Siro. The nerazzurri dominated against Parma, on matchday 15 of Serie A. Dimarco broke the deadlock in the first half with a brilliant goal, before goals from Barella and Thuram in the second half and the unfortunate own goal from Darmian. Here are the thoughts of Simone Inzaghi at the end of the game:
“The boys were brilliant this evening because Parma really are a good side, especially away given that they have only lost to Napoli. We know we needed to play well and we did that, I am very happy. We scored two great goals through Dimarco and Barella, Lautaro has to keep working like this and I am happy with his performances, just a bit disappointed that he couldn't get a goal. There is a slight bitter taste from the game today because we conceded and the team didn't deserve that, we played attentively for all 94 minutes. Correa was back to being the player that we know he is and he's doing very well. He's doing well in training and must continue doing this. We will try to go the whole way in the FIFA Club World Cup, for three and a half years we have done a great job in bringing Inter to a level by which they can play in this important competition, for us this is a great sense of satisfaction worth sharing with the players, society and all of the staff. ”
