Piovani: "Great feelings, we want to keep improving"
Inter Women
— Jul 15th 2025Inter Women's preparation for the new season continues. The Nerazzurre, managed by Gianpiero Piovani, gathered at the Konami Youth Development Centre on 13 July. After the first few days of work in Milan, from 27 July the Nerazzurre will head to Brunico, Alto Adige, for a week-long tour in the mountains of the Val Pusteria. During the tour, Inter Women will play two friendlies: Wednesday 30 July at 17:00 CEST against Rangers Women’s Football Club and on Sunday 4 August against Parma.
The Inter manager said this about his initial impression and the goals for the season:
“I have undeniably positive feelings as we still have many of the girls who were here last year as well as the new additions. We must continue what we did last year, above all in the final six months when we raised the bar. We always want to improve and work with great humility. The girls must understand that we are Inter and that we must always do well, continuing to push the limits. As staff, we must try to come up with different options, bringing something new. I am convinced that the new players will not have problems with becoming part of the team as this is a group of great girls who are all empathetic and united. Next season, we want to raise the bar by improving day by day. We should try to always be hungry. The fans may stay by our side in this journey as there will be many matches, including the Champions League. They should keep doing the same as they did last year as they were great. They are such a key part of this project. ”
