A spectacular night, which displayed the Nerazzurri's character and courage. Inter progress to the Coppa Italia final thanks to a sensational performance, sealed by Petar Sucic's goal in the 89th minute. His control in the box and the right-footed strike brought San Siro to a standstill for a moment. It was only when the ball hit the back of the net that time began again, allowing delirium to come over the crowd at San Siro. Once again, Inter have done what seemed impossible.
The Croatian midfielder discussed his emotions after the game, alongside Marcus Thuram, who made sure to stay on the pitch until the very end to celebrate with the fans:
“I'm delighted. It was a great evening. I think we deserved to go through because we were two goals down and still managed to turn things around. It's never easy to make a comeback in a game like that. We showed how strong our drive was, and we never gave up. I've wanted to win since I arrived at Inter: it would be incredible to win two trophies in my first year. I hope we can carry on like this until the end of the season. We give everything in every game and every minute to win Serie A and the Coppa Italia. I don't know if I'm the best version of myself; I'm just trying to continue improving for this great team and these amazing fans. I do my absolute best to improve every day. ”

“This is an incredible feeling, an amazing game. There's not much to say; it's just surreal. Winning two trophies would be really special after all the work we've done this season, especially for our fans. We've always given our all for Inter.”
