Interviews with the goalkeeper and Francesco Acerbi after the 1-0 friendly win over Sassuolo

Inter wins the fifth and last friendly of December: at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia, Inzaghi's team dominated the match and won 1-0 thank to a second-half goal from Edin Dzeko, assisted by Bastoni.

André Onana and Francesco Acerbi commented on the match after the game.

“We played a great game against a good team, we did well. I have a lot of confidence in this team, we can face any team head on. We have already done it this season, as we showed in the Champions League. I really have a lot of confidence in my teammates, in the strength of this group. We are ready to start again. My head is all focused on Inter. With the team we have, we can take on any opponent. Our task is to be ready, match after match.”

André Onana

“Without a doubt it was the best game this December, we started again, we made some good plays, it was a real challenge: there was intensity, which we needed to get more minutes under our belts. Every game depends on us, on how we approach it, on how good we are. The fixture against Napoli is really important, we are happy that Lautaro is back, we have four strong forwards who threaten the opponents. However, the difference is made by the whole team, how compact they manage to be. ”
