The Nerazzurri Coach's words on the eve of Inter's second league fixture of the season

MILAN – Inter are getting ready to play their first home game of the season. On the eve of their match against Spezia, which is scheduled to take place at 20:45 CEST on Saturday at San Siro, the team are putting the finishing touches to their preparations on the pitch of their home stadium, where Simone Inzaghi previewed tomorrow’s Serie A matchday two showdown live on the Club’s Instagram page.

“After our trip to Lecce, we’ve worked well, trying to perfect our playing patterns. Mkhitaryan won’t be available, but we’ll have D’Ambrosio back.”

It was a very late goal that sealed the win in Lecce: “We finished the match with four attackers on the pitch. We’ve got a lot of excellent players at our disposal, and those who come on often make an impact and are decisive. With this team, there are many possible solutions. This is very important because, as matchday one showed, this is a very competitive division and everyone plays to win right until the last moment.”

The Nerazzurri will be up against Spezia, who started their campaign with a win: “It’ll be a complicated match because they’re doing well and won in both the Coppa Italia and in Serie A. Gotti is a well-prepared coach; his teams have a recognisable style of play.”

At San Siro, over 70,000 fans will be in attendance to support the Nerazzurri: “It’ll be exciting because we have a special relationship with our fans. This summer, in the various friendlies we played in Italy, we felt the warmth and affection of our supporters.”
