The Coach's thoughts after the game in Munich

Inter's final group stage fixture of this season's Champions League ended in defeat as Bayern ran out 2-0 winners at the Allianz Arena. However, the result didn't have any bearing on the group standings, with the Nerazzurri having already qualified for the round of 16. This is what Coach Simone Inzaghi had to say after tonight's match:

"We've progressed from a difficult group, achieving something that makes us really happy. This evening, we played well against a really strong side. We had a few chances to take the lead, and there was also the penalty that wasn't given. We were were then punished for our first lapse in concentration. However, the team did well. We were able to rotate the squad, which is something we got out of it. We've got a very important match on Sunday and have three games to play before the break, all of which are very difficult. Lukaku? His injury is obviously disappointing because he's a very important player for us. He'd shown positive signs in training, but then there was this unfortunate moment against Sampdoria. Nevertheless, he'll add something to the team when he returns."
