Inzaghi: "We’ve won three matches in a week: congratulations to the boys!"
First Team
— Oct 5th 2024The words of the Nerazzurri coach after the 3-2 victory over Torino
The match concludes with a 3-2 victory for Inter at San Siro in Serie A Matchday 7. The Nerazzurri triumph over Torino, led by an outstanding hat-trick from Marcus Thuram, who was the standout performer of the night. Here’s what Simone Inzaghi had to say after the match:
“We’ve played three games in a week and achieved three victories. I can’t fault the players because each game has been challenging. We certainly need to improve certain aspects, as we’re currently paying a high price for our mistakes. We’re working hard on the details that need refining, and we know a game like today shouldn’t end 3-2 given everything we created. I have to commend the players because it’s not easy to see a team perform so well across three games in a week, but we know there’s still much work ahead. I’ve changed some players, and the opponents have changed, but our approach remains the same in both the Champions League and the league. Today and in Udine there were fewer warning signs before we conceded. We know there will be more moments like this, and we just need to focus on improving. The team is giving it their all.”
