The thoughts of the Nerazzurri Coach after the home defeat to Monza in Serie A

This what Simone Inzaghi had to say after Inter vs. Monza:

"The team did well in the first half and deserved to go into the break in front. In the second half, we became tense and lost our shape, conceding too many counter-attacks. It's a photocopy of the matches against Fiorentina and Salernitana. Our form in the league isn't acceptable. We knew the importance of tonight's match, and the result slows down our progress.

"We're disappointed. In our last few matches, we've encountered great performances from Terracciano, Ochoa and Di Gregorio, who were the best players on the pitch. This means we're creating a lot without taking our chances.

“We're not lacking motivation in the league. I'm disappointed with the result but not by the team's performance. We're creating so much but not finding the net.”

"We had the best attacking record in the league for many months. Recently, however, we're not scoring despite creating a lot. We've dropped several points at home and don't have a lot of time to work, but we need to be better than the incidents that happen during matches. We're built to compete for all our objectives. We hold a two-goal advantage against Benfica, but they're a strong side who we need to face with maximum focus."
