Inzaghi: “We did well to stay in the match”

“We were up against a quality side and really had to dig in during the first half, but we did well to stay in the game and find an equaliser. It was our first Champions League fixture and we’ll take this point. We touched on the fact that Real Sociedad are an excellent team. The lads are playing a lot, and many of them played for their countries recently. Nevertheless, we did well to stay in it and are also grateful to Sommer, who played his part. We then finished the last 20 minutes really strongly. We saw how we need everyone in these matches, and I’ll make changes because we’ll be playing a lot of games.
