The former Nerazzurri goalkeeper and Hall of Famer turns 75 today

A life between the posts, and a life dedicated to the Nerazzurri: Ivano Bordon’s name is forever connected with Inter’s history, across eras, successes and unforgettable triumphs. He joined the club’s youth academy at just 15, growing up alongside the legendary Grande Inter of Helenio Herrera as he waited for his chance. That moment came in 1970 with his First Team debut. From then on, Bordon made 388 appearances over 13 seasons, establishing himself as one of the most important goalkeepers in Inter’s history. He was part of two Scudetto-winning sides and lifted two Coppa Italia trophies, delivering standout performances along the way, like the unforgettable night in Berlin against Borussia Monchengladbach in 1971.

Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2022, Bordon belongs to the long line of great goalkeepers who have defined Inter’s legacy.

Born in Marghera on April 13, 1951, Ivano Bordon turns 75 today. Best wishes from the entire Inter family!
