Lautaro Martinez wins best striker in Serie A 2025/26!

Serie A has announced the individual awards for the 2025/26 season, presented across the following categories: Best Overall Player, Best Under-23 Player, Best Defender, Best Midfielder, Best Forward and Best Coach. Three Inter figures received recognition: Federico Dimarco was named Best Overall Player, Lautaro Martínez won the award for Best Forward, while Cristian Chivu was named Best Coach.

A season of leadership, drive and captaincy. A campaign that saw him further etch his name into Inter history. Lautaro Martinez won his third Scudetto with the Nerazzurri, the second as captain, with his performances and goal contribution earning him the Serie A 2025/26 Best Striker award.

Now in his eighth season with Inter, Lautaro has become a true icon of the club. This year, the captain climbed to third place in Inter’s all-time scoring charts, with 175 goals in 375 appearances across all competitions.

He led the Nerazzurri to the title with 17 goals and six assists in 29 appearances. His impact was decisive: eleven of his 17 goals directly earned points for the team, while his six assists mark his best return across his eight seasons at the club. These numbers powered him to lift the 21st Scudetto at San Siro, secure his ninth trophy with Inter, and once again make history for the club.
