Happy birthday, Lautaro!

A special day for all Inter fans: on the day Serie A gets back underway, Lautaro Martinez celebrates his 29th birthday. The Nerazzurri captain is celebrating his ninth birthday as an Inter player, following eight unforgettable seasons in which El Toro has written unforgettable pages in the Club's history, winning a host of trophies and setting remarkable records.

Born on 22 August 1997 in Bahia Blanca, Argentina, El Toro has made 376 appearances for Inter, scoring 175 goals. Last season, Lautaro became the third-highest scorer in the Club's history, behind only Giuseppe Meazza and Alessandro Altobelli. From 29 September 2018, the day of his first goal against Cagliari, to today, Lautaro's Inter career has reached extraordinary heights: in eight seasons, El Toro has won three Scudetti, three Coppa Italia titles and three Supercoppa Italianas. Nine trophies in total, four of which he lifted as captain, a role he has held since the 2023/24 season.

Already firmly established in Inter's history, captain Lautaro Martinez is now ready to embark on his ninth season in Nerazzurro, with the Serie A campaign getting underway on his birthday against Monza.
