LeoVegas.News Goal of the Season | Lautaro wins the award

For the second year running, Lautaro Martinez has been awarded with scoring the best goal of the season. After winning the accolade for his right-footed bullet at Anfield in 2021/22, El Toro has once again been recognised for his quality. The LeoVegas.News Goal of the Season, voted for by Nerazzurri fans on the Club's social media channels, goes to the Argentinian forward. The goal in question is the third that was tucked away in Riyadh in the Supercoppa Italiana victory over AC Milan.

The goal to make it 3-0, after getting away from his marker, Fik Tomori, was a delicious outside-of-the-right-foot finish, that angled perfectly into the back of the net to set off what is now already an iconic celebration: racing over to the Nerazzurri fans with the number 10 in hand and his teammates hugging him.

A triumph in Riyadh, and another one in the final for the best goal of the season, with Lautaro getting the better of Barella's right-footed volley against Cremonese.

The competition for the best goal, therefore, ends here: a draw made up of 16 finishes taken from the Men's and Women's First Team squads and the Primavera side. On the list were the eight winners from the "LeoVegas.News Goal of the month" and the eight-most voted for during the season.
