Happy birthday, Lúcio!

A tough, rock-solid and brave defender: he came to Inter in Summer 2009, and in his first season as a Nerazzurri, Lucimar da Silva Ferreira became a pillar in the side that won the Coppa Italia, Serie A, and Champions League. Also known for his driving runs with the ball, Lúcio played for Inter for three seasons, racking up 136 appearances and five goals. Over his three years in Milan, the Brazilian won six trophies: the 2009/10 treble as well as a Supercup, another Coppa Italia, and the Club World Cup.

Born in Planaltina on 8 May 1978, Lúcio turns 47 today and FC Inter Milan and all Nerazzurri fans would like to pass on our very best wishes.
