Fun facts about the Nerazzurri's new signing

There's a breeze that never stops blowing through the life of Luis Henrique Tomaz de Lima. A wind that begins in João Pessoa, a city on the Atlantic coast and the easternmost point of the South American continent, and is now reaching Milano, where the Brazilian is ready to write a new chapter in his career wearing the Inter jersey.

Luis Henrique is the 36th Brazilian in Inter's history and arrives after a brilliant season with Marseille, where he scored nine goals and provided ten assists. But beyond his numbers and performances, what truly tells us who Luis Henrique is are his passions, his roots, his everyday habits. Let’s discover a few fun facts about the Nerazzurri’s new winger.

BEGINNING HIS JOURNEY ON A DIRT PITCH

"Who passed on a passion for football to me? My father, without a doubt. He runs a football school, and I developed there." Luis's roots are humble and authentic: he took his first footballing steps in Solânea, a municipality in the state of Paraíba, where he played on a dirt pitch. "I was three years old and played with the other kids from the neighborhood."

O FENÔMENO AS HIS ROLE MODEL

His childhood idol could only have been a Brazilian, and not just anyone: "I was inspired by Ronaldo, O Fenômeno." Like the legendary striker, speed and technique are among his defining attributes: "I would describe myself as a fast, intelligent and technical player."

MUSIC AND DANCE: HIS WORLD AWAY FROM THE PITCH

When he's not on the pitch or training, Luis Henrique takes refuge in music. "I like forró, it's a typical genre from my region. I always listen to it, even before taking to the field." Music isn't just background noise, it's energy, it's rhythm and it's part of his pre-match ritual, along with his mother's voice: "I call her before every game." And he doesn’t just listen: "Yes, I'm also a dancer," he reveals with a smile. It's another insight into how he experiences football: with passion, with rhythm, with joy.

HIS BEST GOAL

Among the many goals he's scored, there is one that Luis holds close to his heart: "I think my best goal arrived in a match between Marseille and Nice. A special moment."

NOT JUST FOOTBALL

Luis Henrique is also passionate about other sports like football tennis and teqball, two disciplines that require skill, quick reflexes and coordination. For him, it's a mix of training and fun.
