— YesterdayFC Internazionale Milano took part in Parole a Scuola, an event organised by Parole O_Stili in collaboration with Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and the Giuseppe Toniolo Institute. The initiative returned to Milano on October 24, offering a day of free training for teachers, educators, parents and everyone who faces the challenges of education on a daily basis.
The 2026 edition focused on dialogue between generations, recognising that listening, open discussion and the quality of relationships are essential to creating effective educational experiences. Through a series of talks and discussions, the initiative aims to provide teachers and educators with practical tools and insights.
Representing the Club, Massimo Tarantino, Youth Sector Director, took part in a panel discussion on the subject of football fandom alongside Caterina Gozzoli, Full Professor of Work and Organisational Psychology at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, and Sara Compagni, CEO & Founder of Da Paura Srl.
The discussion centred on the language used by supporters, posing a thought-provoking question: "On the sidelines, we hear things that would never be acceptable in a classroom. How do we teach young people that they can want to win without humiliating their opponents?" The topic highlighted the role of sport as a tool for personal growth and education, capable of promoting respect, responsibility and appreciation for others, even in competitive environments.
During the discussion, Tarantino shared the approach adopted by the Nerazzurri Youth Sector, where players' technical and sporting development goes hand in hand with a strong emphasis on their personal growth and all-round education. This includes instilling values such as fair play, respect for opponents, self-control and team spirit.
Inter's participation in Parole a Scuola forms part of the Club's wider collaboration with Parole O_Stili. Last season, the partnership led to a training programme for young players in the Nerazzurri Youth Sector, resulting in the creation of the Glossario Alè, a resource designed to encourage reflection on the language of football fandom and its impact. The Club also signed the Manifesto of Non-Hostile Communication, demonstrating its commitment to promoting responsible communication both on and off the pitch.
Through initiatives such as this, Inter reaffirms its commitment to championing the educational value of sport and helping foster a positive culture of football fandom, built on respect for others and the values that make football an important opportunity for individual and collective growth.
