Meeting between Fredy Guarin and Inter Primavera

On Thursday, 30 July, the "Fredy Guarin experience: football, challenges and comebacks" was held at the Konami Women & Talent Center - In Memory of Giacinto Facchetti. The event saw Club legend Fredy Guarin meet the players from Inter's Primavera squad, as the Colombian ex-pro discussed his life on and off the pitch.

Accompanied by Francesco Toldo, co-ordinator of the legends project, Guarin was introduced to our Youth Sector Director, Francesco Toldo, and also talked us through some of the biggest moments in his professional career and personal life, going into detail on the challenges he faced, his ability to pick himself back up, and the value of comebacks.

By telling his own story, Guarin gave the young Nerazzurri advice and cause to reflect, offering them some useful tips that are useful for their development not only as players but as people too.

The initiative came as part of the educational project promoted by the Educational Area of our Youth Sector; it is a structured array of formative activities that make up part of the daily work of our players and staff. It is a programme designed to support the personal and professional development of the young Nerazzurri players through opportunities to engage with figures who have written important chapters in Inter's history.
