The meeting between Inter Women and the athletes from Al - Ittihad

Inter will play Al-Ittihad in a friendly this evening at 20:30 CEST at the U-Power Stadium in Monza, the Jeddah side competes in the Saudi Pro League.

Representatives from the Saudi club were hosted at Inter HQ on the eve of the friendly. Two players from Inter Women, Lisa Alborghetti and Irene Santi, were at the centre of a meeting with two of the athletes from the Al-Ittihad women’s team, Farah Jefry and Zala Meršnik.

This was a moment of exchange, hosted by Virginia Stablum in the Media Room of Inter HQ in front of Nerazzurri employees, during which the players discussed the different elements of their careers, comparing the values that have pushed them on their journeys.

An important and engaging talk that touched on themes of the evolution of women’s football in recent years, female emancipation in sport as well as advice for future players.
