An exciting day culminated with a prestigious award from the AIC: Michela Cambiaghi was honoured as one of the best female footballers of the 2023/24 season. The Nerazzurre forward was included in the TOP 11. The special prize, presented directly by her colleagues, confirms the importance and impact of the Inter Women striker. Among the Nerazzurre candidates was also Lina Magull.

In the extraordinary setting of the CONI Salone d’Onore in Rome, on the afternoon of Monday 24 March, the awards ceremony of the Women4Football event, now in its second edition, was held. An event celebrating women's football and its protagonists, organised by the Associazione Italiana Calciatori in collaboration with the DA agency. The highest authorities of Italian sport were present, including Minister for Sport and Youth Andrea Abodi, CONI President Giovanni Malagò, FIGC President Gabriele Gravina, AIC President Umberto Calcagno and Vice-President Sara Gama.

On stage, in a meaningful moment, the best female footballers of the season received their awards from true legends of Italian women's football. Among those on stage was Elisa Bartoli, defender of the Inter Women.

It was an extraordinary achievement for Cambiaghi, who has been able to establish herself as one of the protagonists of the season in an Inter shirt, earning the esteem and respect of the entire football movement. A success that adds to the constant growth of Inter Women, more and more central on the national stage.
