100 Inter appearances for Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Henrikh Mkhitaryan made his 100th Inter appearance in all competitions when the Nerazzurri drew 0-0 with Manchester City in the Champions League. The Armenian, who has since gone on to play a further four matches this season, received a special shirt at the BPER Training Centre on Thursday to celebrate this prestigious milestone.

The 35-year-old made his Inter debut in the Nerazzurri's 2-1 victory away to Lecce on 13 August 2022. He's been a vital figure for the team in the past couple of years, displaying all his quality and character.

A versatile and tactically astute midfielder, Mkhitaryan has showcased his fantastic attacking characteristics, bagging some vital goals. He's found the net seven times, including particularly noteworthy goals against AC Milan. First, he scored as Inter overcame their cross-city rivals over two legs in the Champions League semi-finals in 2023, and then he bagged a brace in the Nerazzurri's 5-1 victory over the Rossoneri last season. A big contributor to Inter's 20th Scudetto triumph, he's also won the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana (x2) with the Nerazzurri.
