CROATIA BEATEN ON PENALTIES
Spain won the Nations League after triumphing on penalties over Marcelo Brozovic's Croatia. It ended 0-0 after 90 minutes and remained goalless after extra time. Spain scored all five of their spotkicks. Brozovic played the full 120 minutes.
Federico Dimarco scored an excellent goal in Italy's 3-2 win over the Netherlands in the Nations League third place play-off game.
The Azzurri ended in third place thanks to the contribution of several Nerazzurri players: Acerbi played the full game, Dimarco opened the scoring with a cracking left-foot strike after six minutes (subsituted on 74’) and Barella came on in the 85th minute.
For the Netherlands, Denzel Dumfries played the entire game.
Italy went 2-0 up thanks to Dimarco and Frattesi, with goals then coming from Bergwijn, Chiesa and Wijnaldum after the break. It ended 3-2 for the Azzurri.
