Nerazzurri records, the Dimarco show and Calha makes it 100: stats from Lazio vs. Inter

NERAZZURRI RECORDS

With the victory over Lazio, Inter have equalled their greatest number of away wins collected in a single calendar year in Serie A: 13, as in 2007 and 2021. Moreover, Simone Inzaghi's side have scored 47 goals away from home in Serie A in 2024, breaking their record for goals on the road in a single calendar year in the top flight. Inter have scored at least one goal in the last nine consecutive away games against Lazio in Serie A for the first time since 1960 (12 at that time).

DIMARCO SHOW

Yet another brilliant goal from Federico Dimarco. The Nerazzurri wing-back bagged in the game against the Capitolini with a delicious volley. Dimarco is the only defender to have scored at least 8 goals and provided at least 8 assists in the last two Serie A seasons. In the Top-5 European leagues, only two players have done so: Álex Grimaldo and Jeremie Frimpong.

DUMFRIES AND LAZIO

With the goal scored at the Olimpico, Denzel Dumfries now counts his most goal involvements (four) against a single side in Serie A, against Lazio. The Dutchman affirms his scoring streak: he's bagged seven goals in the last two Serie A seasons and of the defenders is the competition, only Federico Dimarco has done better in the period.

Another goal, this time the last of the game. Marcus Thuram made it 6-0 against Lazio with a powerful strike. The Nerazzurri number 9 is the player to have taken part in the most goals this Serie A season: 21 with 17 goals and 4 assists.

CALHA MAKES IT 100

Calha is not stopping. With the penalty converted against Lazio and the assist for Barella, the Nerazzurri number 20 has reached over 100 active goal involvements in his Serie A career: 48 goals and 53 assists. Since arriving at Inter, he is the only midfielder to have scored more than 25 goals and provided more than 20 assists in Serie A.
