Here's what the Inter players had to say after winning the Club's tenth Coppa Italia

A hugely important win on a historic night for the Nerazzurri. Inter have won their tenth Coppa Italia and the players swarmed the pitch at the Olimpico in celebration.

After the trophy was presented, several Inter players spoke in the post-match interviews:

“I'm happy, after a difficult period I'm back and I'm glad I could help my teammates. I'm happy that I was able to provide Lautaro with the assist, he was angry that haven't given him many this year. I would have to give coach Chivu a 10/10 for this season, because he's helped us so much right from the start. ”

Denzel Dumfries

“I'm very happy and proud of the incredible season we've had. Since I arrived at Inter, I knew that this group was special and we've shown that on the pitch, I've always had faith in this team. The secret is in the hard work, the strength of my teammates, the coach, and also being able to enjoy ourselves. If I had to dedicate this trophy to anyone, I dedicate it to Marco Materazzi. ”

Marcus Thuram

“Really happy, it's been a long road and we've worked loads after last year, which wasn't easy but we reacted well and deserved these trophies. I've always believed in myself, having a Coach like ours is important: even if you make a mistake, he still believes in us. He deserves credit because it wasn't easy after last years. We're really happy to have won this second trophy, I dedicate this season to the fans. ”

Yann-Aurel Bisseck

“This is an incredible moment, it wasn't easy to get here and we were up against a strong side, but we were determined to give it our all and we deserve the win. Personally, it was a difficult season, and so I have to thank everyone for all the support they gave me. I think that since the start of the season, the Coach has given us a new energy - the key has been taking it one game at a time and not thinking too much into the future. We're a strong group, having such a solid defence really helps me keep clean sheets, everyone defended from the first attacker to the last defender. I dedicate this trophy to my grandma, who is watching over me from above. ”

Josep Martinez

“I didn't picture winning an important trophy in my first season, let alone two: I'm really happy, kudos to all of the team, we're a very good side. I understood our value as soon as I got here, you could see that we'd get here. The Coach has put his trust in me, I hope to do even better next year. ”

Luis Henrique

“Those who know me, know I'm not a surprise, but I'm glad I was able to show my true value. I've felt good, stayed injury-free and I'm really happy with what we've achieved. Winning the double is fantastic and I want to thank my teammates, we're an amazing group and hopefully we can keep winning together. From the coach and his staff, to the players giving everything on the pitch, and of course our fans who follow us everywhere and push us on - this is a special team, and tonight's win belongs to all of us at Inter. I dedicate this trophy to my family, and especially my wife. They couldn't be here today, but we will make up for it on Sunday.”
