Inter beat Cesena 2 - 0 to secure direct qualification for the Scudetto semi - finals

Inter Primavera have finished the regular season on a high. The Nerazzurri secured a 2-0 win away to Cesena, where goals from Zanchetta and Zarate Hidalgo sealed second place with 74 points and direct qualification for the play-off semi-finals. It was a solid and intense performance where Coach Zanchetta's side displayed maturity and character, managed the key moments well and struck at the right times. Focus now shifts to the play-off semi-finals scheduled for next week.

Inter started with real determination, taking control of the game from the get-go. In the 5th minute, a long-range effort from Motta was held by Veliaj. The Nerazzurri kept on pushing and tested the goalkeeper again through Re Cecconi (14'). At the other end, the biggest chance of the first half arrived as Perini headed towards goal, but Calligaris produced a magnificent save (16'). Inter came close through Spinaccè (33'), while Ghinelli couldn't quite hit the target for the hosts with a right-footed effort from the edge of the box (40').

The second half began in perfect fashion for the Nerazzurri as Zanchetta collected the ball on the edge of the box and fired home via a deflection to make it 1-0. Inter continued to put nice moves together, with Venturini shooting into the side netting in the 58th minute. With real focus, the Nerazzurri were managing their lead well but also looking for the decisive blow. This almost arrived in the 83rd minute: Mosconi played an inviting ball in for Spinaccè, who controlled it well but failed to keep his shot down. The Nerazzurri scored a second in stoppage time thanks to some great individual work from Zarate, who found the net with a powerful right-footed strike. It finished 2-0 to Inter Primavera, who looked convincing and picked up three solid points ahead of the play-off semi-finals.
