Primavera, Inter 1 - 1 Udinese

Inter U20s drew 1-1 with Udinese today after a hard-fought match where luck wasn't always on the Nerazzurri's side. After an even first half, Inter fell behind after the restart but grabbed a late equaliser through Spinaccé. Zanchetta's side had plenty of opportunities and will feel regretful at not having won it after hitting the post twice, with Spinaccé also having a penalty saved.

Inter made a strong start, coming close in the second minute through a Zarate header from a Della Mora cross. De Pieri then had a go with his left foot from the edge of the box, but Cassin produced a fine stop. The Nerazzurri continued to put pressure on their opponents as Spinaccé's twelfth-minute effort was deflected behind.

At the other end, Udinese's first real attempt arrived in the 22nd minute, when Bozza volleyed over the bar. The biggest chance of the first half came after 40 minutes: Spinaccé, who had been picked out by Zarate, let fly with a powerful strike from inside the box that was somehow kept out by Cassin.

Inter started the second half in aggressive fashion, with Motta forcing Cassin into action after some good individual work (47'). Two minutes later, captain Berenbruch narrowly missed the target with a curling effort. With 57 minutes on the clock, Udinese hit the bar through Bonin, who, however, then finished off El Bouradi's assist to open the scoring. The Nerazzurri looked to respond immediately, with Zarate striking the post with an effort from the edge of the area (68') and De Pieri also hitting the woodwork with a header (70').

In the 74th minute, Inter were awarded a penalty for a foul on Spinaccé, who was then foiled by Cassin from the spot. However, Inter kept on going and found a deserved equaliser in the 86th minute: Spinaccé headed home a Topalovic corner to secure a 1-1 draw for Zanchetta's men.
