Today, for our home fixture against Atalanta, we have, once again, opened up a quiet room at San Siro to welcome children on the autism spectrum so that they can enjoy the game to the fullest.

The initiative, carried out by Inter and with the support of BPER the Club's Official Banking Partner, saw the participation of ten fans from all across northern Italy and was run in collaboration with Fondazione Italiana Autismo and Associazione Giuco97.

Before the game, the children were welcomed to the BPER skybox by Inter Chairman and CEO Giuseppe Marotta. They then received a special message from Vice Chairman Javier Zanetti, Chief of Staff Max Catanese and Chief Revenue Officer Giorgio Ricci. Making the day even more special was a meeting with Club legend Francesco Toldo.

Last season, the Club launched this initiative for the first time, with the commitment to make it a recurring annual event in order to support and raise awareness around this important topic on the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day on 2 April.

Alongside the Nerazzurri's Special Teams, who will take part on 28 March in the We Are Sport football tournament for athletes of all abilities, these initiatives show Inter’s continued commitment to promoting inclusion for everyone in the experience of football, both on the pitch and in the stands.
