Inter to take on Sassuolo in a friendly

Inter will take on Sassuolo in their final friendly of 2022. After taking on Real Betis in Seville on 17 December and Reggina on 22 December, Simone Inzaghi's men will travel to Reggio Emilia to take on Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium. Kick-off is set for 17:00 CET on Thursday 29 December. The Neroverdi have, thus far, taken 16 points from 15 games in Serie A, with a record of four wins, four draws and seven defeats. The two teams last met on matchday nine of the current season when an Edin Dzeko brace decided the outcome. This friendly will serve as vital preparation for the restart of competitive domestic football, which will see Inter host Napoli at San Siro on 4 January.
