Simone Inzaghi named Serie A's Coach of the Month for October

October was an outstanding month for the Nerazzurri, which saw them end it top of the Serie A table thanks to a positive run that began with victory over Salernitana on 30 September, and continued with a 2-2 draw against Bologna and wins against Torino and Rome. Lega Serie A has awarded Simone Inzaghi the Coach of the Month award for October due to the attacking and exciting football on display, combined with a mean and tight defence. The decision was made by a jury made up of editors-in-chief of sports newspapers, who assessed each individual coach based on performance, quality of play and behaviour.

Inzaghi will receive the award before Inter vs. Frosinone, scheduled to take place at San Siro on Sunday 12 November at 20:45 CET.
