Inter Women's journey in the first edition of the Serie A Women's Cup continues, bringing together all 12 teams from the 2025/26 Women’s Serie A. After finishing top of group B in front og Fiorentina, Como Women, and Genoa, Piovani's side have qualified for the semi-finals: the Nerazzurre will take on Juventus on Wednesday 24 September at 18:30 CEST at the 'Romeo Menti' Stadium in Castellammare di Stabia.

The Nerazzurre kicked off their Group B campaign with a 2-1 victory over Genoa, secured by goals from Bartoli and Bugeja. Following this came their 3-1 win over Fiorentina thanks to goals from Polli, Vilhjalmsdottir, and Bugeja, before they were edged out by Como Women. It was because of these results that they finished top of their group and qualified for the Final Four.

Il lavoro che stanno facendo sia a livello di palestra sia a livello di campo è ottimo, sono molto fiducioso. Sarà una partita tosta perché affrontiamo le Campionesse d’Italia, noi lo scorso anno siamo arrivati appena dietro ma conosciamo le qualità della Juventus, quindi cercheremo di dare battaglia e soprattutto di giocare un buon calcio. ””

After a winning debut against Parma, secured by goals from Girelli and Bonansea, Juventus narrowly lost to Lazio, the group leaders, before ending their group campaign with a convincing win over Napoli Women, thanks to goals from Godø, Girelli, and a brace from Pinto.
