Meazza leads the all-time leaderboard, with Lautaro in third

Lautaro Martínez continues to climb Inter's all-time scoring charts. The Nerazzurri captain, born in Bahía Blanca on 22 August 1997, has now reached 175 goals in official competitions, overtaking Roberto Boninsegna to move into third place outright on the club’s all-time list.

At the top of Inter’s all-time scoring rankings remains Giuseppe Meazza (1910–1979), who scored 284 goals in Nerazzurri colours and is one of the club’s greatest legends. Between 1927 and 1940 — with a final season in 1946/47 — “Pepìn” was central in shaping the history of both Inter and Italian football. Across 408 appearances he scored 284 goals, finishing as the league’s top scorer three times (with a personal best of 31 goals in a single season). He won three Serie A titles and one Coppa Italia with Inter, as well as the 1934 World Cup and the 1938 World Cup for Italy.

Second on the list is Alessandro “Spillo”Altobelli, born in 1955. Over 11 seasons he scored a remarkable 209 goals in 466 appearances, across league matches, European competitions and the Coppa Italia. During his time with Inter he won one Serie A title and two Coppa Italia trophies, and he was also part of the Italy squad that won the 1982 FIFA World Cup.

Now that Lautaro Martínez is in third place outright, he has moved ahead of Roberto Boninsegna. “Bonimba” (born 1943) was the prototype of the classic centre-forward and maintained the highest scoring average at Inter from the 1960s onwards. In 281 official appearances he scored 171 goals, winning one Serie A title with the club and finishing as the league’s top scorer twice. During his Nerazzurri career he also added three goals in competitions outside the main league and cup structure: two in the Trofeo Armando Picchi and one in the Coppa Anglo-Italiano.

Lautaro Martínez, who has been at Inter since 2018, reached 174 goals. It marks another milestone in the Argentine’s relentless climb: he is also fourth in the club’s history for goals in Serie A with 132. Over the past few seasons, he has successively overtaken names such as István Nyers, Benito Lorenzi, Luigi Cevenini III, Sandro Mazzola, and Roberto Boninsegna.

Mazzola's total does not include the goal he scored in the 1971 Armando Picchi Trophy, as that competition is not considered alongside league and cup matches. The same applies to Boninsegna, who scored 171 official goals for Inter, in addition to two in the A. Picchi Trophy.
