Only on three other occasions have Inter won 20 of their first 25 league games: 1988/89, 2006/07, and 2023/24. A figure that demonstrates the team's remarkable consistency.

The way Inter won was legendary too, given that for the first time in their Serie A history, Inter scored a winning goal against Juventus from the 90th minute. It was certainly a finale only a great team could pull off, decisive when it mattered most.

ZIELINSKI'S ICONIC GOAL

Piotr Zielinski's goal at 89:54' is the latest goal Inter have ever scored against Juventus in Serie A since Samuel Eto'o's goal at 91:40' in April 2010, which also took place at San Siro.

For the Polish midfielder, it's also a significant personal milestone: Zielinski reached 49 Serie A goals, on par with Arkadiusz Milik at the top of the list of the highest-scoring Polish players in the history of the Italian league.

A MAGICAL NIGHT FOR PIO ESPOSITO

At 20 years and 231 days old, striker Pio Esposito became the second-youngest Italian player for Inter to score against Juventus in the league over the last 60 years (since the early 1970s), after Mario Balotelli, who scored on 18 April 2009 at 18 years and 249 days.

A statistic that highlights the young Nerazzurri's growing talent, as he played a pivotal role in a memorable night.

DIMARCO IN COMMAND

Federico Dimarco continues to deliver extraordinary numbers, with 12 assists from the first 25 matchdays, the most assists in Serie A this season. This record, since data has been tracked from 2004/05, is only matched by Fabrizio Miccoli (2011/12), Ronaldinho (2009/10), and Andrea Cossu (2010/11).

12 assists in the current Serie A season make Dimarco's display the best single-season performance by an Inter player since records began in 2004/05. Previously, Nicolò Barella and Hakan Çalhanoglu had reached the same level in 2021/22.

The Nerazzurri winger has also directly contributed to 50 goals in Serie A for Inter (20 goals and 30 assists). Since his first involvement in 2021/22, he has been one of only two players to score at least 20 goals and provide at least 30 assists for a single club in Serie A, along with Rafael Leão with Milan (50 goals and 35 assists).
