Unstoppable Lautaro and the team's clincal form: stats from Inter vs Lazio
Team
— Nov 10th 2025Another win, another statement performance. Inter defeated Lazio 2–0 at San Siro thanks to goals from Lautaro Martínez and Ange-Yoan Bonny, on Matchday 11 of Serie A. Three crucial points earned through intensity, quality and focus — a night that underlined the strength, consistency and solidity of Cristian Chivu’s side, who now sit top of the table on 24 points, level with Roma.
A WELL-OILED MACHINE
With their victory over Lazio, Inter have once again proven their remarkable consistency. Since the start of October 2025, only Arsenal (eight) have won more matches than the Nerazzurri, who boast seven wins — level with Manchester City and Bayern Munich — across all competitions among Europe’s top leagues.
In Serie A, the numbers speak for themselves. Inter are the only team to have scored in all eleven league matches so far, netting a total of 26 goals. Chivu’s side also lead the league for goals scored in the opening fifteen minutes, with five early strikes — proof of their trademark aggression and determination.
Their home form continues to be exceptional: with twelve victories at San Siro in 2025, Inter share the record with Roma. Lautaro’s goal against Lazio, which came after just 2 minutes, was Inter’s fastest against the Biancocelesti in Serie A since Walter Samuel’s strike on 6 December 2008, scored at 1:34.
RECORD-BREAKING LAUTARO
Captain, leader, goalscorer. With his strike just two minutes and four seconds into the match, Lautaro Martínez reached 161 goals in an Inter shirt, moving into joint-fourth place on the club’s all-time scoring list, behind only Roberto Boninsegna, Alessandro Altobelli and Giuseppe Meazza.
The Argentine continues to shine in 2025: with 10 goals scored this calendar year, he becomes just the fourth player in Inter’s history to reach double figures in seven separate Serie A seasons, following in the footsteps of Altobelli, Lorenzi and Meazza. It also marks Lautaro’s second consecutive game on the scoresheet in all competitions — a sign of his excellent form and his enduring importance at the heart of the Nerazzurri project.
BONNY’S CUTTING EDGE
In the second half, it was Ange-Yoan Bonny who sealed the win, who's growing in confidence and impact with every game. With this latest goal, the 2003-born forward underlined his prodigious talent: only Santiago Castro and Nico Paz are players younger than Ange that have scored at least 10 Serie A goals over the past two seasons. Power, determination and composure: Bonny continues to make his mark as one of the standout figures of Inter’s campaign.
BASTONI THE PROVIDER AND FRATTESI HITS 100
The night at San Siro brought more milestones for the Nerazzurri. Alessandro Bastoni once again showcased his quality on the ball: with three assists in Serie A so far, he ranks just behind Emil Holm and Federico Dimarco (both on four) among the league’s most creative defenders.
There was also a special personal achievement: Davide Frattesi made his 100th appearance for Inter across all competitions, a testament to his steady growth and increasing importance within the team.
