Here is what Inter President Steven Zhang had to say following the game against Benfica

For the first time in 13 years, Inter are into the Champions League semi-finals. The Nerazzurri beat Benfica over two legs – 2-0 in Lisbon and 3-3 at San Siro – to go through

Here is what Inter President Steven Zhang had to say following the game against Benfica:

“I’m really pleased. Being among the top four sides in Europe means a lot because we started a long way off. At the start of this project, our players hadn’t played in the Champions League and they have grown with us. Now we’re here; it means so much to me and the staff and is the fruit of a lot of hard work in recent years. A derby? It’s a massive game and a chance for a bit of revenge even. But every game from now until the end of the season is like a final for us. We want to do as well as we possibly can, in the league and the Coppa Italia, as we’ve done in the Champions League until now. My celebration for the third goal? I was emotional. I’m also really pleased for Correa; it was a chance for him to show his value. The future? We’re focused on taking it one step at a time. We work hard every day to get better with the entire staff and the playing squad. A message for the fans? I want to thank those that come and support us every week, filling the stadium with their incredible passion. They need to keep supporting us and we will keep giving our all.”
