A comeback victory over Colombia in Orlando

In addition to the World Cup qualification play-off matches, this international window also features a series of high-profile friendlies for teams that have already secured their place at the tournament. In particular, several European sides that have already qualified for the World Cup are playing a series of matches in the United States, as they begin to familiarise themselves with the venues that will host the competition next summer.

Last night, Marcus Thuram took to the pitch at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough as France secured a 2-1 win over Brazil. Meanwhile, in the early hours between Thursday and Friday, Petar Sucic played in a friendly between Croatia and Colombia at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. The Balkan side came from behind to win 2-1, with goals from Vušković and Matanović reversing Arias' early opener. All the goals came in the first half.

Sucic, who was named in the starting XI by Zlatko Dalic, remained on the pitch until the 61st minute, when he was replaced by Baturina. Croatia will return to action against Brazil in Orlando in the early hours between Tuesday 31 March and Wednesday 1 April.
