Champions League, calendar and standings

Inter continued their remarkable European run with a 4-0 win over Union Saint-Gilloise on Matchday 3 of the Champions League league phase. Three wins from three and no goals conceded – a historic first for the Nerazzurri. Chivu’s side opened their 2025/26 campaign with a 2-0 victory away to Ajax at the Johan Cruyff Arena, thanks to a Marcus Thuram brace. They followed it up at San Siro with another convincing display, defeating Slavia Prague 3-0 through Lautaro’s double and a Dumfries strike.

Next up for Inter is a home clash with Qairat Almaty on 5 November at 21:00 CET.

The top eight teams in the league phase will advance directly to the Round of 16, while those finishing between ninth and twenty-fourth will enter the playoff round.
