The Inter forward spoke after the Derby against Milan

An unlucky night for Inter in the Derby against Milan. The Nerazzurri put out a solid performance, creating many chances but couldn't find a goal. Inter must come back with confidence, as Marcus Thuram highlighted after the match:

“We created lots of chances, but we were up against an incredible goalkeeper tonight. This defeat shouldn't shake our confidence, we need to keep pushing and things will turn around. Perhaps I should have aimed my header to the other side, the one Maignan managed to save. Head-to-heads? I think with the coach we'll find solutions because he's very good and gives us advice to improve. It's only November, there are still many matches ahead. The way we play, holding onto possession, we leave ourselves exposed, so losing the ball can be costly, and Milan's counter-attack is arguably the best in Europe. We need to improve, but we played a solid game. Something is missing, but I think we are on the right track. The most important thing is that we have faithi in ourselves and in the coach. One defeat isn't the end of the world. Inter are on the right path, even though there’s always room for improvement. I feel good, maybe I lacked a bit of energy at the end, but now we’ll work to prepare for Wednesday’s game. We’ll build on the positives from tonight, work on our mistakes, and give our best in Madrid.”
