PREVIOUS MEETINGS

The match on Saturday will be the 162nd league meeting between Inter and Torino. The statistics favour Inter: 75 wins compared to Torino's 36 wins, with 50 draws between the sides. Torino have only been defeated more times by Juventus (78).

Inter come into the clash following five consecutive wins against Torino in Serie A, including four clean sheets. The Nerazzurri have only recorded a better streak in the period between 2002 and 2008, when they defeated the Granata seven times consecutively.

That's not all: the Nerazzurri haven't lost against Torino for 11 games in Serie A, a streak which began in the 2019/20 season. Inter have won four of their last five matches away to the Granata.

IL MOMENTO DEI NERAZZURRI

The win against Hellas Verona confirmed another valuable statistic: Asllani's goal means that Inter have had 18 different scorers in the Serie A this season - a record shared in Inter history with the 2007/08 and 2019/20 seasons. The intensity of Inter's play is proved by the number of goals scored from dead ball situations: Inter have scored 22 goals from dead ball situations, like Bayern München and Osasuna - the highest number in the top five European leagues. The side have scored eleven goals from corners, a record in the Serie A.

From an attacking point of view, the Nerazzurri lead the way in the league with an average of 15.5 shots per game. They also dominate when it comes to crosses: Inter are the side that have scored the most from crosses or corners in the league (15), testimony to their efficiency when it comes to attacking on the wings.

LAUTARO'S NUMBERS

The Inter captain has played a part in 15 goals in this current Serie A season (twelve goals and three assists). A goal or assist against Torino would make him the only player to have contributed to at least 16 goals in each of the last six Serie A seasons, from 2019/20 until now.

TIKUS, ACERBI AND TORINO

Torino are Marcus Thuram's favourite team to play against in the Serie A, having scored four goals against them, including his hat trick at the Meazza on 5 October. The Frenchman is one of four players in the league to have scored at least six goals at home and away (alongside Retegui, Lookman and Dovbyk). With 14 goals, he has equalled Djorkaeff's record (1996/97 season) as the highest scoring French player for Inter in a single Serie A season.

The veteran defensive leader Francesco Acerbi made his impact against Torino: they're the only side in Serie A against whom he has recorded at least a goal and assist (2G + 2A). At 37 years and 85 days old, he also made European history, becoming the second oldest scorer in a Champions League semi-final after Ryan Giggs (2011).

DIMARCO, ASSIST STRENGTH

With his incredible running down the flank, Dimarco has already recorded seven assists this season. In the last 20 seasons, only Maicon and Hakimi have done better as Inter defenders: a sign of the importance of this quality for Inzaghi's team.

THE OPPOSITION: TORINO

Torino, led by Paolo Vanoli, are currently in eleventh place on 44 points, thanks to ten wins and 14 draws. The Granata are one of the four teams alongside Bologna, Roma and Napoli to have not lost at home in 2025: in fact, they are unbeaten in nine home matches and have drawn nine games in the Serie A since the start of the year. In their last five games, the Granata have one win against Udinese, two home draws against Venezia and Verona and then two defeats away to Como and Napoli. Their top scorer in the league is Ché Adams, with nine this season. Vanoli will probably employ a 4-2-3-1 formation with Milinkovic-Savic a defence made up of Dembele, Coco, Maripan and Biraghi, Ricci and Casadei in the midfield, while Lazaro, Vlasic and Elmas sit behind Adams.
