UEFA Women’s Champions League: standings and fixtures

A new edition of the UEFA Women's Champions League is under way, with Inter taking part for the first time. The Nerazzurre got their European campaign off to the perfect start with a 1-0 win against Häcken. Sassarini’s side will now play their first away game of the League Phase, travelling to Austria Wien on 1 October at 18:45 CEST.

REGULATIONS

The League Phase of the UEFA Women's Champions League features a single league table. Each of the 18 participating teams plays six matches, three at home and three away. At the end of Matchday 6, the top four teams qualify directly for the quarter-finals as seeded teams. Teams finishing fifth to twelfth enter the playoffs, with the clubs that finish fifth to eighth seeded. The bottom six teams, from 13th to 18th, are eliminated from the competition.
