Happy birthday to Youri Djorkaeff!

Clear class, talent and a touch of stardom: on Inter's 117th birthday, Youri Djorkaeff celebrates turning 57.

Born in Lyon on 9 March 1968, Youri came to Inter in 1996: he gifted many unforgettable emotions to the Nerazzurri fans, leaving us lost for words on several occasions with his extraordinary goals and brilliant plays, just like that historic bicycle kick against Roma which became the image for our season tickets in the 1997/98 season.

Djorkaeff spent three seasons in an Inter shirt, fostering a special bond with the Club and it's fans: in total, the Frenchman made 127 appearances and scored 39 goals, winning the UEFA Cup in 1997/98.
