A special day for the Club: on 9 March 2026 Inter Milan celebrate their 118th anniversary, while Youri Djorkaeff turns 58.
A player blessed with exceptional game awareness and always capable of astonishing Nerazzurri fans with moments of pure brilliance, Djorkaeff arrived at Inter in the summer of 1996. The Frenchman spent three seasons in Milan, forging a special bond with the Club and its supporters. Many moments remain unforgettable, from the extraordinary overhead kick against AS Roma in the 1996/97 season to the decisive goal against Juventus FC in January 1998, on the same day that Ronaldo Nazário received the Ballon d'Or. With Inter, Djorkaeff made 127 appearances and scored 39 goals, winning the memorable 1997/98 UEFA Cup in Paris.
Born in Lyon on 9 March 1968 – exactly 60 years after Inter’s founding – today Youri Djorkaeff celebrates his 58th birthday alongside the Club and receives best wishes from the entire Nerazzurri family.
