Youth League: Real Madrid v Inter live on Inter.it tomorrow at 16:00

Inter Primavera are set to begin their 2026/27 Youth League campaign away to reigning champions Real Madrid on Tuesday 8 September. Kick-off in the League Phase opener is scheduled for 16:00 at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano in Madrid.

The match will be streamed live from 16:00 on inter.it, the official Inter app, Inter TV and the Inter 24/7 FAST channel.

YOUTH LEAGUE FORMAT

As in previous seasons, the Youth League begins with two separate paths: one aligned with the Champions League League Phase and another featuring the domestic champions from UEFA’s 52 member associations.

The Champions League path features the youth teams of all 36 clubs competing in Europe’s premier club competition, including Inter Primavera. The league phase mirrors the first six matchdays of the Champions League League Phase, with the same fixtures played across both competitions: three at home and three away. The top 22 teams will progress to the round of 32, with the draw scheduled for Friday 11 December.

The domestic champions path features 50 teams and is played over three two-legged knockout rounds. The ten sides that emerge from the third qualifying round will secure a place in the Youth League round of 32.

KNOCKOUT STAGE AND FINAL FOUR

From the round of 32 onwards, the competition moves into a single-leg knockout format. The teams finishing 1st to 6th in the Champions League path will face those ranked 17th to 22nd, while the sides placed 7th to 16th will take on the ten qualifiers from the domestic champions path. A new open draw will be held for the round of 16. As usual, the tournament will culminate in a four-team final stage featuring the semi-finals and final.

INTER U20 FORM

Inter U20 head into their Youth League opener in fine form after a convincing 3-0 league win away to Bologna, with El Mahboubi scoring twice and Carrara on target for the third game in a row. The result moved the Nerazzurri onto seven points, following an opening-day victory away to Genoa, sealed by Carrara, and a frustrating 2-2 draw against Empoli at the KONAMI Women & Talent Center.

Bigica’s side now face reigning champions Real Madrid, who lifted the trophy last season after defeating Club Brugge on penalties following a 1-1 draw in the final.
