Youth League quarter - finals: Trabzonspor vs. Inter on 1 April

The Primavera's campaign in the UEFA Youth League 2024/25 continues. Coach Zanchetta's side beat Bayern Munich on penalties in the Round of 16, qualifying for the quarter-finals of the competition: the Nerazzurri will take on Trabzonspor in a single elimination match in Turkey on 1 April at 16:00 CET (18:00 local time) at the Şenol Güneş Spor Kompleksi Stadium. After ending the League Phase with six wins from six games and topping the league, Inter beat Lille 3-1 in the Round of 32 (Spinaccè brace and Mosconi) and beat Bayern Munich in the Round of 16 of the competition. In the eventual semi-finals, the Nerazzurri will face the winner of RB Salzburg vs Olympiacos.

THE DRAW:

The 16 qualified teams will all be in the draw for the rest of the competition which will conclude, as always, with four teams in the semis and final. The games will be played in Nyon (Switzerland) on April 25 and 28.

In line with the rules, club's from the same federation cannot be drawn against one another. The first-drawn teams will play the first match at home. For the draw, a pot is prepared containing balls with the names of the 26 teams, which are shuffled. Two balls are drawn sequentially from the pot, to determine the first matchup. The first team draw will play the single-leg match at home. This is then repeated until all of the balls are drawn.

QUARTER-FINAL DRAW: RULES

For the draw, a pot is prepared which contains balls with slips labelled from "Winner of Round of 16 - 1" to "Winner of Round of 16 - 8". The balls are then shuffled. Two balls are drawn to determine the first quarter-final matchup, with the first team drawn playing the single-leg match at home. This process is repeated with the remaining balls in the pot until all pairings are completed.

SEMI-FINAL DRAW: RULES

For the draw, a pot with balls with slips labelled "Winner of quarter-final 1" to "Winner of quarter-final 4", is prepared. The balls are shuffled. Two balls will be draw to determine the first semi-final. The first team drawn out of the hat will play the single-leg match at home. The process is repeated to then determine the other semi-final.

Then, the semi-final's are formed by a completely open draw, there will be no need for a draw for the final. The winner of semi-final 1 will be the home side for the final.
