Career Story
Stefano Vecchi's bond with Inter is based on passion, dedication and belonging.
It's a new Nerazzurri adventure for the manager from Bergamo, who is back representing our colours after already achieving so much in the Inter youth sector. His journey at the club began many years ago, indeed as a player, with his first steps in our academy. He then continued his path from the bench, from Summer 2014, when he took charge of the Primavera.
At the helm of the Nerazzurri U19s, Stefano Vecchi knew how to get results and make the most of talent, managing record achievements. In four seasons, he led Inter to seven finals, winning six prestigious trophies for the club: from the 2015 Viareggio Cup, to the 2015/16 Primavera TIM Cup, to the 2016/17 Scudetto, to winning the 70th edition of the Viareggio Cup and the first Primavera Supercup in our history, both won in the extraordinary 2017/18 season.
Key elements of his work have always been professionalism, skill and authentic passion for the Nerazzurri, qualities that also led him to take charge of the first team twice in the 2016/17 season.
After four unforgettable years with Inter, Vecchi continued his professional career, with important experiences that bolstered his technical and human skills. Hit return today represents a continuation of our values, as well as another step forward in the Club's project, with the U23s strengthening the connection between the youth sector and the first team.
