After a third straight win for the Nerazzurri, here are some facts and figures related to Wednesday’s game

MILAN – Last night’s home fixture saw Inter pick up their third straight league win, beating Lazio 3-0.

In partnership with Opta, we bring you some of the key facts and figures surrounding Inter’s eighteenth Serie A match of the season:

Under Stefano Pioli, Inter have collected an average of 2.17 points per game in Serie A. In the 12 games before his arrival, this figure stood at 1.42 points on average.

Inter have kept 3 consecutive clean sheets in Serie A for the first time since November 2015.

The Nerazzurri have also now won 5 Serie A home games in a row for the first time since May 2011.

In the first half of yesterday’s game, Inter registered 4 shots on goal. Only in the clash with Atalanta have they had fewer first-half shots on goal in a Serie A match, with just one effort.

So far this season, Lazio have conceded only 3 first-half goals, fewer than any other Serie A side. However they have conceded 18 goals in the second period of games.

Mauro Icardi has now scored the most headed goals in Serie A this season, with 5.

The Inter captain has scored 4 braces in his last 5 Serie A home games.

Icardi has bagged the most doubles (6) in the top 5 European Leagues in the 2016/17 campaign.

Before this season, the Argentinian forward had never scored more than 10 goals in the first 18 Serie A fixtures.

Ever Banega has scored both his Serie A goals against teams from the Lazio region (Roma and Lazio).
