SESTO SAN GIOVANNI – Stefano Vecchi's Primavera recorded their fourth win on the bounce this afternoon to strengthen their grip on top spot in Group C.
"We played superbly," the Inter U19 coach said after his team beat Roma 2-1. "We're pleased because we put in an almost perfect display against a top opponent.
"The team showed great desire and the right spirit. We're growing and becoming a real unit. This result will be important for the championship; now we have to aim for victories in our upcoming games, staying confident in our own ability. There are some big sides behind us in Atalanta, Virtus Entella and Genoa.
"Let's secure our league position first, then we'll start thinking about the Viareggio Cup," Vecchi concluded.
