Second-half goals by Vanheusden, Bakayoko and Rover help Inter Primavera record a 10th league victory in their last 11 outings

COTRONEI - Inter Primavera strengthened their grip at the summit of Primavera Group C with a 3-1 victory at Crotone on Saturday morning.

After a goalless opening period, Zinho Vanheusden rose highest to head in the opener from a corner in the 52nd minute.

The second came 20 minutes later when Andrea Pinamonti laid off for Axel Bakayoko and the Frenchman exploited his pace to bear down on goal and finish.

Pinamonti then set up Rigoberto Rivas for number three following a set-piece.

The home side pulled one back with five minutes left to play but the Nerazzurri held on to clinch a 10th win from their last 11 league games.

Stefano Vecchi's boys temporarily hold a seven-point lead at the top of the table awaiting the other results this afternoon.
